Lorraine loves travelling with her family and exploring new cultures. She is a keen skier and avid walker, recently completing a marathon walk for charity, with more planned for the future. Lorraine enjoys and collects wine and is also a keen cook. She also has a very eclectic taste in music from all eras.
Ivan de Lantivy
Ivan de Lantivy was born in London (UK) with French parents so was brought up from an early age speaking both French and English and understanding different cultures from the outset. Ivan’s first love was pretending to craft out a career in politics and hence graduated from Lancaster University in political science and then went on to do a Masters degree in International Relations at the University of Sheffield. It was after leaving Sheffield that Ivan realised that political life was not for him and needed to find a different path.
Ivan has 25+ years experience working in the business travel industry and has held various positions of responsibility in Sales, Account Management and Business Development roles, as well as Senior Director and Vice President positions where he has also managed teams. Ivan has vast experience within the business travel industry and has learnt his trade by being part of different sectors, whether it be rail where he started out back in 1994, to the hotel industry where Ivan spent the best part of 12 years, then onto working for one of the top three Travel Management companies.
The past four years have seen Ivan move into the technology side of the industry, working for one of the top three Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and then moving into the SaaS world. Ivan is well travelled and has huge amounts of global knowledge which he has picked up along the way and has also spent time in certain countries where he understands the cultural differences and how different companies operate in different regions.
In his spare time, Ivan loves going to see live music and is in the process of rebuilding his vinyl collection (watch out when he’s on the dancefloor). As well as being a huge Chelsea football fan (don’t hold that against him), Ivan enjoys cooking, travelling and photography. Ivan has also recently become a member of the Business Travel Wellbeing (BTW) community where he hopes to spend more time giving back to people who need help and someone to talk to.
